Shipping and Return Policy

Shipping policy

All parts orders are processed and shipped with 1 business day of receipt (excluding weekends and holidays). You will receive a notification when your order has shipped. If the volume of orders is high, it may take longer than 1 day to process your order.

Local and Domestic Carriers & Shipping Rates

We use a variety of carriers, including FedEx, UPS, and USPS, to ensure prompt delivery of your parts. We offer $14.95 flat rate shipping to anywhere in the lower 48 states of the United States of America. 

In-store pickup

You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup at 830 S 75th St, Omaha, NE 68114. After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within 1 business day. We will send you an email when your order is ready along with instructions. Our in-store pickup hours are Monday – Friday – 8 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Please have your order confirmation email with you when you come.

International Shipping

We do not offer international shipping.

Refunds, returns, and exchanges

All parts (excluding consumable items like filters and fuses) carry a guarantee from the manufacturer, usually 90 days from the date of purchase. To exercise this guarantee, you must present the part & receipt, and provide the model and serial numbers of the appliance within the guarantee period and we will exchange them. Returns must be accompanied by a receipt and must be made within 30 days. We assess a 15% restocking fee, which is usually waived with exchanges. If a part has been installed or is not in saleable condition in the original packaging it will be denied for return. No returns will be made on parts that were ordered for you (i.e. special orders). You authorize Hometown Hero Appliance Repair to charge the amount listed above to the card provided. You acknowledge and agree to the terms of the warranty and return policy provided above with your signature above.

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. If you haven’t received your order within 14 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please call us at 402-399-0202 with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.
